I use character creation in my work to both talk about personal experiences without having to use my own face, and to anonymously talk about my issues with certain subjects or people behind closed doors, or canvas in this instance. This character specifically was intended to be an immortal who would choose to die meaningfully then continue his life in this way, a metaphor to my mental struggles to me personally.
