This was my first realistic approach to art before I began my journey in college. I wanted to make sure painting was the correct choice of medium for me, and this was the open door that evidently led to me making the subject matter that I do in my work. The idea of venting, or expressing myself through a static piece of work that doesn't move in comparison to animation or visual design. This was also my first time experimenting with unusual materials on canvas; the bandages I used are real.
